Emirati plane, carrying humanitarian aid to arrivals from Lebanon, arrives at Damascus International Airport

An Emirati plane arrived on Thursday at Damascus International Airport carrying a new batch of humanitarian aid for those arriving from Lebanon.

The plane carries about 20 tons of aid, including humanitarian, health and personal care supplies provided by the United Arab Emirates and directed to all those arriving from Lebanon.

The plane was received by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and will be distributed in coordination with the Emirates Red Crescent and the Higher Relief Committee.

This plane is the third to arrive from the United Arab Emirates, in continuation of the Emirati humanitarian efforts to help our Lebanese brothers and returning Syrians. Two planes arrived in Syria during the past two weeks, one of which carried 35 tons of relief and food supplies, medical supplies and equipment, and an ambulance, and the other carried 10 tons of aid, including humanitarian supplies and medical supplies.
