“Crowns of Honor” An Event to Honor The Mothers of Martyrs in Sweida

On the occasion of the Mother’s Day, the “Amity and Faithfulness: Mahabba Wa Wafaa” community initiative team in Sweida organized today a ceremony to honor the mothers of the martyrs in appreciation of the sacrifices of their sons. The occasion is titled: Crowns of Honor, Part II

The ceremony, hosted by Al Shams Restaurant Hall in Sweida, included a set of artistic and poetic paragraphs, with gifts and certificates of appreciation distributed to the 21 honored mothers as a number of whom expressed their pride in the martyrdom of their sons in order to defend the nation’s pride and dignity.

Member of the Executive Office of Suwayda Governorate, Adnan Azzam, indicated during the ceremony the pride in the mothers of the martyrs who raised their heads high for their martyred sons, whose names will remain immortal in history and in the souls of all honorable people in the world.

“The honoring event is an addition to the many activities provided by the initiative during the last period,” said Saad Kiwan, secretary of the “Mahabba Wa Wafa” initiative team.

The Love and Faithfulness initiative in Sweida Governorate, whose work has been launched a few months ago, is one of the humanitarian initiatives aimed at spreading the values of love among members of society.
