Corona virus kills more than two million and 148 thousand people around the world

Capitals (ST):  The Corona virus has killed more than two million and 148 thousand people around the world since its appearance in December 2019, according to the latest statistics of the American Worldometer website. 

According to the site , the total number of Coronavirus infections around the world has so far reached 100228084 cases, and the total deaths reached 2148036 cases, while the total number  of recovery cases from the virus has reached 72212556 cases. 

 

The United States continues to lead the most affected countries by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, recording 431059 deaths out of 25828668 infections, followed by India with 153624 deaths out of 10677710 infections, then Brazil third with 217,664 deaths out of 8871393 infections.
