Army Restores Majority of Oil Facilities by Liberating Strategic Ark Oil Field in Palmyra Countryside
HOMS-By liberating Ark oil field from ISIS terrorist organization, the Syrian Arab army, supported by its allies, has restored the majority of the oil facilities in the Syrian Badia, SANA reported.
Those important economic installations were substituted into dens for the Takfiri organization during the recent time and became an important resource to fund its criminal acts all over the Syrian territories.
Establishing control over Ark oil well, located 40 km to the north-eastern side of Palmyra, will be a new gate and a starting point towards expanding the army’s operations and victories getting towards al-Sikhnah town on the road of Palmyra-Deir Ezzor according to military experts.
A field commander told SANA that the strategic importance of Ark region comes from that the fact that it is an essential supporter to the national economy as it includes many oil wells, let alone, increasing the safe geographic areas in al-Badyah.
The great progress of the army towards Palmyra eastern and north-eastern countryside into Deir-Ezzor road opens the way wide to meet the combatant forces along different axes in the north and west side of the Syrian Badyah, yet, inflicting heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists.
Field reports affirm that the army units have advanced in the western countryside of Raqqa and the eastern countryside of Aleppo into the direction of al-Badyah in the south through controlling the oil field of al-Thawara.
