Army Establishes Full Control over al-Resafa City and more than 20 Towns and Farms in Raqqa Countryside

 RAQQA COUNTRYSIDE, (ST)- The Syrian Arab army in cooperation with supporting forces established full control on al-Resafa city in addition to more than 20 towns and farms in Raqqa southern countryside, a military source told SANA.

 According to the source, during the Syrian army operations in Raqqa southern countryside, hundreds of Daesh terrorists were eliminated and six vehicles, 11 tanks, 10 cannons, 9 mortars and a rocket launcher in addition of 200 different cars were destroyed.

Army destroys ISIS fortifications in Deir Ezzor

In Der Ezzour, the Army’s artillery on Monday targeted ISIS hideouts and fortifications in the surroundings of the Panorama school and Tal Brouk, west of the Radio Station in Aiyyash village, al-Thardeh, in the surroundings of the Military Airport and in al-Howeiqa neighborhood, destroying terrorists’ barricades and killing a number of them.

SANA reported that the army air force, in parallel with the artillery bombardments, destroyed ISIS gatherings and vehicles, killing and injuring a number of terrorists in al-Hamidiyeh neighborhood, the Panorama and the villages of al-Bghiliyeh and Aiyyash.
