Al-Shahabi: Expo Syria Is A Great Opportunity to Encourage Industrialists and Promote Local Product

The President of the Aleppo Industry Chamber Fares Al-Shehabi stressed that the export exhibition “Expo Syria 2024” is a great opportunity to encourage industrialists and promote local products to support the national economy.

In a statement to the media, Al-Shehabi affirmed the need to support export exhibitions and participate in them widely in order to encourage the local industry and activate the foreign trade movement, especially related to small and medium-sized industries as an important step to develop and encourage them along with large industries.

Al-Shehabi highlighted the importance of the export movement and the large participation of products and companies in Aleppo, despite the existence of some obstacles to the exportation process. He expressed hope that more facilities will be provide to accelerate the wheel of the Syrian economy and encourage exportation to other countries, especially as the exhibition is witnessing visits by a large number of Arab and foreign businessmen.

Al-Shehabi asserted the support of the Aleppo Industry Chamber for holding exhibitions, and for searching for foreign markets on an ongoing basis as it is a very important source of foreign exchange, stating that the visit reflects the Chamber’s firm interest in industry and in the participating industrialists who seek to expand their fields of exportation based on the general desire to develop and strengthen the national economy.
