Al-Maqt: ‘The Sacred Blood Which Watered the Soil of Sweida Won’t Be in Vain’

OCCUPIED GOLAN, (ST)- Dean of Syrian prisoners in the Israeli occupation jails Sidqi al-Maqt has affirmed that Syria will defeat the Zionist-American-takfiri scheme and will triumph over terrorism thanks to the steadfastness of the Syrian people and the sacrifices of the Syrian army.

Al-Maqt sent a letter of condolences from inside the Israeli jails to the families of the martyrs of the terrorist attacks which hit Sweida on Wednesday, expressing his deep condolences and sympathy with martyrs’ families and wishing speedy recovery for the wounded.

“Once again the criminal takfiri gangs, which are backed by America, Israel and their agents in the region, target Sweida province, the bastion of dignity and struggle against foreign colonialism and the place where renowned freedom fighter Sultan Pasha al-Atrash led the Great Syrian Revolution against the French colonialism. Today’s scene is not different from that of the past…the same criminal tools are serving the same scheme,” al-Maqt said, saluting the heroism of the Syrian army in the fight against terrorists.

Al-Maqt reiterated that the “sacred blood which watered the soil of Sweida won’t be in vain, it will lead to the defeat of the Zionist-American-takfiri scheme”, stressing that Syria under the leadership of President Bashar Al-Assad and thanks to the sacrifices of the Syrian army and the steadfastness of the Syrian people, will triumph.
