Al-Maliki renews his demand that the Israeli Judaic plans stop

Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki has renewed his demand for the international community to take urgent action to halt the Israeli Judaic plans, stressing that annexing more Palestinian lands in the West Bank undermines any opportunity to establish an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967 with Jerusalem as its capital.

Al-Maliki said in a statement on May 12 that the Israeli occupation authorities’announcement of their intention to annex parts of the West Bank is a serious crime.

Al-Maliki added that the international community is  only issuing statements of condemnation against the Israeli occupation crimes against the Palestinian people and this is not enough and unacceptable.

“The international community is to assume its responsibilities and implement the international legitimacy resolutions and the Geneva Conventions, foremost of which is UN Security Council Resolution 2334, which demands that the occupation immediately halt all settlement operations in the occupied Palestinian territories,” WAFA News Agencyquoted al-Maliki as saying.
