A ship carrying 1,834 various passenger cars has arrived at the port of Tartus from South Korea, marking the second such arrival in recent times.
The Director of the Customs Office at the port of Tartus, Riad Joudi, said to a SANA correspondent that the General Authority for Land and Maritime Ports at the port of Tartus has enhanced security and safety measures, increased capacity, reduced waiting times for ships, and taken all necessary customs procedures and facilities to ensure the quality of service is provided as quickly as possible.
Joudi confirmed that Syrian ports are moving towards revitalizing operations following the lifting of economic sanctions, which will have a positive impact on the Syrian economy as a whole.
