Occupation’s plans to annex parts of the West Bank are a blatant challenge to international law, says Shtayyeh
Occupied al-Quds, (ST) – Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh reiterated that the Israeli occupation authorities’ plans to annex parts of the West Bank are a flagrant challenge to international law and a threat to security and stability in the region.
Shtayyeh said in a statement reported by Wafa News Agency that the declaration of the occupation about annexing Palestinian lands comes within the framework of implementing the so-called “deal of the century” aimed at liquidating the Palestinian issue and undermining any opportunity to establish an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967 with al- Quds (Jerusalem ) as its capital.
He called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and stop the implementation of the settlement occupation plans.
