Ashtiyeh: Israeli occupation plans to annex parts of the West Bank are rejected

Occupied Jerusalem,(ST)- Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Ashtiyeh reiterated that the Israeli occupation’s plans to annex parts of the West Bank are unacceptable and undermine any opportunity to establish an independent Palestinian state based on the borders of June 4, 1967 with Jerusalem as its capital.

Ashtiyeh said in a statement by Wafa Agency today that the occupation authorities have accelerated the implementation of their plans to annex parts of the West Bank and Judaize it with the support of the United States of America in the context of implementing the so-called “deal of the century” aimed at liquidating the Palestinian issue.

Ashtiyeh called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to stop the implementation of settlement occupation plans, and provide international protection for the Palestinian people.
