Egyptian party calls on world peoples to stand against US sanctions

The Democratic Generation Party in Egypt has called for adopting serious steps to lift the economic sanctions being imposed on Syria.

The President of the party Mr. Naji al-Shehabi has called on all world peoples to stand against the US sanctions that ignore the difficult humanitarian situation which all countries are going through because of Coronavirus crisis.

He told the correspondent of the Syrian News Agency (SANA) in Cairo that Syria is being targeted because of its steadfastness and resistance of the US-Zionist plots that target the region.

Mr. al-Shehabi cited that the Syrian army’s victories over terrorist groups increase the hatred of conspirators, who resort to unilateral sanctions to compensate for the defeat of their terrorist arms in Syria.
