BEIRUT, (ST)- Protests were renewed on Saturday in some Lebanese areas demanding improved living conditions and a just trial for the corrupt.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that protestors gathered in front of the Grand Serail in Nabatiyeh raising anti-banking policy slogans and affirming that they will continue their protests until their demands are met.
Other protestors staged a sit-in in front of the Bank of Lebanon. They raised slogans condemning the banking policies and calling for improving the living conditions.
In a relevant context, a bomb exploded near a bank in Riad al-Solh street in Sidon city, breaking the bank’s glass front and the crashing its ceiling.
Security forced arrived at the site of the explosion and opened an investigation to identify perpetrators.
