Moscow ( ST): Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vasilyevich Vershinin affirmed that Moscow supports the calls made by the UN Secretary General António Guterres for a truce in areas of conflict in the world on condition that this truce does not affect the war against terrorist organizations.
In a statement to Sputnik News Agency, Vershinin said, “we completely support UN Secretary General’s call for a truce in the areas of conflict in the world, and as a UNSC permanent member state, Russia is ready to contribute to the implementation of this important initiative, noting that this truce should not affect the decisive war being launched against terrorist organizations which were determined by the UN Security Council.
