Brussels (ST): EU leaders have agreed to set up an emergency fund with a budget estimated at a trillion euros to support the efforts being exerted to recover from the adverse consequences of the Corona-virus pandemic and avoid a new failure.
Reuters said that in light of the closure of the EU offices in Brussels, the EU twenty seven leaders held a video conference to review the proposals and decided to increase the EU budget for the period 2021-2027 including an economic recovery program.
