Putin: We have enough resources to support economy and health sector to combat Coronavirus

Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that the authorities imposed the necessary procedures to confront the Corona pandemic, pointing out that his country has enough resources to support the economy and the health sector to combat its spread.

“All government institutions operate in a balanced, orderly and responsible manner… The situation is under full control … Our entire society is united in front of this common threat,” Putin said in a greeting message on the occasion of the “glorious Easter”.

“Easter this year comes in conditions of coercive restrictions … It is necessary to combat the spread of this epidemic,” Putin added, reiterating that all measures taken to protect people’s lives and health and to support the economy require additional and substantial resources and precautions which Russia already has.

Putin said that his country is carefully studying the experience of other countries in combating “COVID 19” and exchanging ideas with foreign partners.

Putin announced on Saturday that his country has not yet reached the peak of the spread of the Corona pandemic and confirmed its readiness to take part in international experiences to find a cure for the virus, calling for all hospitals specialized in fighting the Corona virus to be equipped with all the necessary medical equipment and well-protected medical personnel in addition to continuous monitoring.
