The Chief of staff and the assistant commander of the Iranian army for coordination affairs Admiral Habibullah Sayyari stressed that the army’s tasks are to preserve the security of Iran, confirming that Iran’s defense capabilities were not affected, despite the spread of the Corunavirus.
Sayyari said in a statement today that the main task of the army is to defend the country, but it put its therapeutic capabilities at the service of the people, referring to the construction of several field and mobile hospitals to provide treatment services for people infected with this virus.
Sayyari described the security situation in Iran as very good, underling the need to exert efforts to preserve the security and health of the people within the framework of the tasks entrusted to the army.
The Admiral noted that there have been no cases of Coronavirus in the Iranian army camps so far.
