The United States enters the list of the highest 3 countries in the world recording the number of infections with the Coronavirus
According to statistics of Johns Hopkins University, the United States has entered the list of the three most countries in the world recording the number of infections with Corona virus after China and Italy, bringing the number of infections to 18,500, while the number of deaths has reached 230 people.
On March 22(today), several countries around the world recorded more deaths and infections due to the emerging Coronavirus (Covid 19).
Thailand topped the list of countries that recorded the highest increase in the number of Coronavirus (Covid 19) cases after its announcement today of 188 new cases, bringing the total number of infections to 599.
South Korea registered 98 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of infections to 8,897 cases as of today, while Afghanistan today also announced 10 new infections, bringing the total number to 34.
In Britain, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned that his country is on its way in reaching the tragic situation that Italy is currently witnessing.
According to British media, Johnson gave instructions to physicians to give priority to those who have the best chance of survival, noting that the acceleration of infections and deaths is pushing the British government health authority over its capacity.
Britain has registered 5,018 confirmed cases of coronavirus so far, of whom 233 have died.
The Czech Republic announced the increase in the number of infections to one thousand and 47 cases, while Romania imposed a curfew on the background of the outbreak of the virus and asked its citizens to stay in their homes as much as possible after it recorded the first death and the number of infections increased to 367.
Cuba announced the dispatch of a team of doctors and nurses to Italy to help combat the crisis of the Coronavirus, after a request from the Italian region of Lombardy, which is most affected by the virus.
This is the sixth medical team that Cuba has recently sent to combat the spread of the Coronavirus abroad. It previously sent medical teams to Venezuela and Nicaragua as well as Jamaica, Suriname and Grenada.
On the other hand, Tunisia requested the UN Security Council to hold an emergency session to discuss the implications of the Coronavirus on international peace and security and to take measures to support the efforts of countries to contain this pandemic that has infected 60 people in Tunisia alone.
