Israeli attacks, desperate attempts to raise terrorists’ morale

Throughout the past eight years, Israeli forces of occupation have been offering unlimited support to the takfiri terrorist groups financially and logistically. Moreover, the Israeli occupation forces have been interfering militarily whenever the Syrian Arab army achieves a landslide victory against the terrorist groups and uproots them from Syrian cities. The US and the Zionist military interference aims at raising the morale of the terrorists in Syria as the terrorists are going through difficult times.

The recent Israeli aggression on Damascus was not a single act, but a continuation of the Israeli support for armed terrorist groups that are listed internationally as terrorist organizations. Last Saturday, Syrian air defenses detected hostile targets approaching from above the Golan towards the surroundings of Damascus, and the attack was dealt with immediately and efficiently, destroying most of the Israeli rockets before they could reach their targets. The recent attack was launched in the aftermath of liberating Hama countryside from terrorism.

 As was the case of its predecessors, this aggression comes in the framework of the constant Israeli attempts to prolong the crisis in Syria and the war of terrorism and to raise the morale of the remnants of terrorists.

On January 11, 2019, Israel targeted a number of sites in the vicinity of Damascus and its countryside with missiles launched by Israeli warplanes .The aggression comes in service of the terrorist organizations that began to suffer from the painful blows directed by the Syrian Arab Army recently.

The authorities of the Israeli occupation launched on 25th of December, 2018 an assault on territories of the Syrian Arab Republic through targeting several military and civil positions in Damascus and its countryside with missiles. The assault coincided with a time when streets were crowded with civilians celebrating Christmas for the first time after Damascus and its countryside were cleaned of terrorism.

On 7/2/2018, the Israeli occupation attacked the Syrian territories, as Israeli aircrafts fired missiles from the Lebanese airspace on an area in Damascus Countryside city. The attack coincided with the attacks of armed terrorist organizations and the launching of more than 1,000 rockets and mortar rounds on neighborhoods, suburbs, diplomatic missions, service facilities, and churches in Damascus and other cities, where dozens of civilians were killed and hundreds others were wounded, most of them women and children. The coinciding of Israeli and terrorist attacks constitutes further proof of the coordination, partnership, and alliance between Israel and the terrorist organizations.

The tripartite aggression launched by the US, Britain and France in April 2018  was a desperate attempt to help the defeated terrorists as they were uprooted from eastern Ghouta by the Syrian Arab army and the allied forces.  The aggression on Syria came as a revenge for the defeat of these three countries’ terrorist proxies in Ghouta.

The continuation of Israel in its serious aggressive approach would not have been possible without the political, military and media cover provided by the US administration in the context of a state of immunity from any accountability provided by well-known states in the Security Council.

The Israeli and Western support for the takfiri terrorist groups operating in Syria will never make the Syrian army and people succumb to the US Zionist project. Rather it will increase their determination to press ahead with their battle against takfiri terrorism until eliminating it and restoring security and stability to Syria.
