ALEPPO, (ST)- The situation in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo are so difficult and even catastrophic because of the crimes of terrorist organizations against civilians there, Mohamad Idlebi, a father in a family of six members, which managed on Sunday to escape the terrorists’ atrocities and leave Aleppo eastern districts, told SANA reporter.
Despite danger, Idlebi and his family left the eastern districts, they reached an army checkpoint before they were taken to the Aleppo Baath Arab Socialist Party branch headquarters where they were welcomed by Aleppo Governor Hussein Deyab and the Aleppo Baath Party branch Secretary Ahmad Saleh Ibrahim.
Idelbi said that he was a resident in Bustan al-Qaser neighborhood, he decided to leave a time ago and looked secretly for a safe exit, but the terrorists were blocking the departure of civilians by force.
He added that after he found one of the passages through which he can reach to safe Aleppo areas, he took his family and walked through the passage at night until he arrived at an army checkpoint where he received good treatment.
According to Idelbi, many families want to leave eastern Aleppo and also some gunmen want to surrender and get their legal status settled, but they fear being killed by the terrorist gangs.
The family’s demands for shelter and basic needs for living were provided by Aleppo governorate.
On Saturday, two families of ten members also managed to leave the eastern districts of Aleppo.
According to SANA reporter, Mohammad Ali al-Hassan as well as his wife and three children, in addition to Abdul Azeem Simmaqiyeh plus his wife and three children arrived at the Aleppo Baath Arab Socialist Party branch headquarters where they were welcomed by Aleppo Governor Hussein Deyab and the Aleppo Baath Party branch Secretary Ahmad Saleh Ibrahim.
Al-Hassan was quoted by SANA reporter as saying that he, along with his family, tried more than once to exit Aleppo eastern neighborhoods, but the terrorists groups prevent them by the force of weapon from doing so every time. He said today he and his family were able to leave Aleppo through Hanano area, pointing out that the terrorist groups are preventing the locals from getting food and medicines as they have exclusive access to these materials.
On his part, Simmaqiyeh said that families inside Aleppo eastern districts are experiencing very critical situation because of terrorism and the terrorists’ atrocities and that they are waiting the Syrian Army to rid them of the terrorist groups and regain the terrorist-held areas.
He added that “if the locals were able to leave, not a single family would stay in those areas.”
Aleppo Governor, on his part, said that necessary care and all the needs of the families were met including residence as well as food and health services.
Aleppo Baath Party Branch Secretary asserted that the arrival of these families to the party headquarter confirmed the rejection of all the locals inside Aleppo eastern districts to terrorism and terrorists. He pointed out that Terrorism won’t have a place in Aleppo and that efforts are being intensively exerted to achieve reconciliation and meet the needs of families escaping the terrorist crimes.
