Head of Arab Beekeepers Union in Syria: Distinguished special success stories will be presented in the forthcoming Honey Festival
Head of the Arab Beekeepers Union in Syria Iyad Daaboul said in statement to the “Global” media network that the Honey Festival, which is scheduled to kicked off on the 2nd of March, will include between 40-50 pavilions representing various Syrian governorates.
He added all parties interested in beekeeping, including the Union of Agricultural Chambers, the Syndicate of Agriculture engineers, the farmers’ union and the Syndicate of Veterinarians will participate in opening of the festival .
Daaboul stressed that the Honey Festival will be distinguished from previous seasons in several aspects, as interactive symposiums will be held between participating beekeepers and consumers, distinguished success stories achieved by some agricultural engineers in manufacturing bee products will be presented. A number of veteran beekeepers will be honored, and a prize will be given for the best sample of crystallized natural honey and other activities.
Daaboul noted that the festival is an opportunity for beekeepers and consumers alike that allows beekeepers to display and market their honey-based products such as creams, shampoos, oils, etc. It will also allow consumers to obtain products with high specifications and free of any adulteration at competitive prices.
