Earthquake strikes central Turkey

Ankara (ST) – A 4-magnitude earthquake struck today in Kayseri province, central Turkey.

The Natural Disaster Response Department in Turkey stated that a four-magnitude earthquake was recorded this morning in the Yahyali area, and that its epicenter was at a depth of 19 kilometers.

On the 18th of last December, two earthquakes struck the regions of northern and northwestern Turkey without causing human or material losses.
