Cabinet: Decree of the model system for job incentives for workers aims to establish clear and transparent criteria and parameters for granting incentives

The Council of Ministers confirmed that Decree No. 252 of 2022, which includes the model system for job motivation for workers in the public sector, aims to establish clear and transparent criteria and determinants for granting incentives that are directly related to the production process in a manner that secures the required balance in the production and productivity equation on the one hand and the income on the other hand in order to improve the production process, which is the best way to achieve economic and social development plans.
In its weekly session headed by Eng. Hussein Arnous, the Council noted the wide participation in the elections of local councils’ members, considering that these councils are a real nucleus for the government’s work on the ground and the executive tool that is directly related to citizens.
Engineer Arnous stressed the importance of direct follow-up to the completion of the contract for the October 16 dam in Lattakia and putting it into service on time in order to improve water resources in Lattakia Governorate.
The Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Dr. Samer Al-Khalil, presented a memorandum on the most important interventions undertaken by the government in terms of supporting the local production and exports, where the Council stressed the importance of exports according to their qualities that enhance confidence in the national products and promote the presence of Syrian products in foreign markets.
The Cabinet approved a number of priority service and development projects in a number of the Syrian governorates.
