Chinese FM: The complete unification of China and Taiwan is a historical inevitable

Beijing (ST): Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi reiterated that Taiwan is part of China and the complete unification of the two sides is a historical imperative.

Today, TASS news agency quoted Wang as saying, commenting on US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan, that “China will not leave room for the action of forces calling for Taiwan independence,” stressing that all efforts by the United States to support the so-called “island independence” will be unsuccessful.

Wang said the United States has turned into the “main destroyer” of peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait and the Asia-Pacific region, which once again proves that some US politicians are sabotaging Sino-US relations.
