The Russian Foreign Ministry: We oppose turning Iraq into a regional confrontation arena

Moscow (ST): Russia renewed its support for the security and stability of Iraq and its refusal to turn its lands into a regional confrontation arena.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement today: We reaffirm our principled and unwavering support for the stability and security of friendly Iraq and strongly oppose turning its territory into a regional confrontation arena.

The Turkish regime forces committed a massacre last Wednesday by bombing a resort in Zakho district, Dohuk governorate, killing 8 Iraqis and wounding 23 others.
