Zukak Aljen .. Ramadan 2023

MB International for TV and Film Production company launched its new Levantine series “Zukak aljen” promo, which is  written by the Syrian author Muhammad Al-Aas , directed by Tamer Ishaq and supervised by the general manager Joud Burghli.

The series presents events that take place in Zukak Aljen neighborhood in the last century 1900, within the framework of the non-traditional Levantine environment. The plot includes  interesting police . A number of the brightest screen stars in Syria act in it, including Ayman Zaidan, Amal Arafa, Safaa Sultan, Shukran Murtaja, and Amarat Rezk.

Zukak Aljen is the name of an old Damascene neighborhood outside the wall, located near Baramkeh area. It is currently famous for being the largest market for selling and trading spare parts, car repair workshops, and it is also a place for street vendors.

The neighborhood was just orchards until the fifties of the last century.The people of the area were terrified of entering and being there, as rumors spread among people that the neighborhood was haunted by Aljen!!
