LATTAKIA,(ST)_ Information Minister Omran Zoubi stressed that the Syrians are more convinced than ever of the importance of national dialogue and reconciliation for expelling strangers and fighting terrorism.
In a lecture at Tishreen University today, minister Zoubi said that this conviction stemmed from the several reconciliation processes in several areas around Damascus, coupled with the surrender armed groups members with their weapons to the competent authorities, thereby normal life is restored gradually to these areas.
” Dialogues will be retained, with a positive attitude, and Syria will remain for the future Syrian generations, but the foreign terrorist has nothing linking him to this land, and that is why he is destroying savagely,” the minister emphasized.
He expressed confidence that the hard times experienced by Syria will end in the interest of the Syrians, thanks to the heroism of the Syrian army, along with a political solution accomplished by honest Syrians and national parties, stressing that the Syrian government would not accept ” to communicate with any Gulf state participated in the conspiracy against Syria, foremost Qatar, ” and will not compromise nor accept anything that will be made in politics or diplomacy at the expense of the martyrs blood.
The minister pointed out that the election is a national duty and a personal right and it requires voters to carry out their responsibilities at this stage, without hesitation, as electoral process is ” a real contribution to the fight against terrorism and violence,” stressing that the national media will be impartial in dealing with all candidates and that the state will work to expand the polling stations, ensure public access and provide the appropriate atmosphere for practicing this national duty.
The minister, on the other hand, honored families of several martyrs, in collaboration with the Lattakia ‘s Medical Association and Tishreen University.
