Zoubi: Syria’s Victory against Terrorism is Victory for World Free Forces

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Information Minister Omran Zoubi stressed the deeply- rooted relations between Syria and the Democratic People ‘s Republic of Korea DPRK, which have been developed over decades, calling for boosting them in various fields in order to cope with the evolution in the political side.

During his meeting today with DPRK ambassador in Damascus Choe Su Hon the minister said that Syria will emerge victorious, and although this victory, is made by the Syrian army against the terrorists and their supporters, however it will be a victory for all free forces in the world, pointing out that Syria ‘s steadfastness against the conspiracy recalls the struggle mounted by the Korean people to liberate their country from colonialism.

For his part,, Ambassador Choe expressed confidence that the Syrian people will be able to achieve victory, thanks to the courage and victories of the Syrian army, pointing out that the Korean people have been engaged in the same battle against the United States since seventy years and emerge victorious in each counter, as a result of the cohesion between the people with their leadership and the deterrent force of the Korean people.

The Ambassador viewed the development of Syria- DPRK bilateral relations as a result of efforts made by the two countries leaders, noting the ongoing successes achieved by the Syrian foreign policy at the international level.
