Zoubi: Betting on Toppling Syrian state Impossible

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi, stressed during a meeting with a delegation, representing the Syrian community in Kuwait yesterday, that betting on toppling the Syrian state is a impossible. A fact recognized by, countries hostile and friends to Syria, alike.

Minister Zoubi said that the Syrian media continues its quest to convey the truth about what is happening on the ground, especially the great human sacrifices and material damage, pointing that enemy media recognized the role of the Syrian media in refuting attempts intended to mislead the public opinion.

He noted the possible contribution of the Syrian expatriate communities in promoting national reconciliation, adding that different readings to the crisis in Syria enriches ideas, while the core problem lies in the various loyalties and the bias of certain sides to money and sectarianism at the expense of the Syrian nationalism.

Members of the delegation, for their part, expressed willingness to provide the necessary support to Syria and to activate national reconciliation.

Chairman of the delegation, Dr. Wael Nasser vowed to provide the necessary support to the National Media and aid for reconstruction and supporting efforts to achieve national reconciliation.

Moreover, al-Zoubi discussed with the foreign minister of the international parliament for peace and security minister Haitham Abu Said and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the country. the role played by civil and international organizations in achieving security and stability in the region.
