Zionists after creating discord among Muslim states

TEHRAN– An official at the Iranian Parliament has noted that disagreements among Muslim countries are in line with policies of the Zionist regime. 

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Parliament Deputy General for International Affairs, made the remarks at a meeting with the visiting Head of Iran-Mauritania Parliamentary Friendship Group Mohammad Valad Fal, according to Mehr News.

Earley into the joint meeting, Iran’s Amir-Abdollahian pointed to the significance of political, economic and cultural ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and African countries, Mauritania in particular, saying “Iran attached great importance to strengthening and deepening multilateral relations in various areas with the countries in Africa.

He further underlined that formations of Iran-Mauritania parliamentary friendship group in the Iranian Parliament can greatly contribute reinvigoration of bilateral rrelations.

Referring to recent crises and developments in Syria, Amir-Abdollahian said Iran deems diplomatic dialogue as the only way out of Syrian crisis and welcomes any steps towards that end.

The official went on to stress that the issue of Palestine remains as a top priority for the Islamic world and Muslim states should never ignore the primary issue.

Muritania’s Mohammad Valad Fal, for his part, voiced satisfaction towards his visit to Tehran and evaluated Iran as an important and influential country in the region and world; “Mauritania pursues the policy of bolstering ties with Islamic countries, Iran in particular, and establishment of a parliamentary friendship group is a means of boosting bilateral political ties.”

The visiting official further maintained that propaganda of Western media against Iran seeks to cause clashes among Muslim countries adding “enemies of Islam have always pursued the policy of forming tribal disagreements though Islamic states are able to thwart their plans by exercising vigilance.”

Valad Fal further emphasized the need for parliamentary coordination as well as implementation of earlier agreements inked between the two countries.

At the end of his remarks, he reiterated that the Palestinian issue should not be forgotten asserting “the Zionist regime and Western countries are seeking to make the world forget the prime issue of Palestine.”
