Zionist Soldier Injured in East Jerusalem Blast

The Zionist police announced Sunday that one soldier was wounded after a car bomb went off in Maaleh Audmim Settlement east of occupied Jerusalem, Al-Manar correspondent reported.

AFP said that a policeman had spotted a “suspicious” vehicle at a checkpoint in the West Bank near the Israeli settlement of MaaleAdumim and ordered the woman driver to stop. As he approached, she shouted “God is great” in Arabic and detonated the bomb.

The police originally said that the woman had died in the attack, but later said that she was still alive and had suffered serious injuries. The policeman sustained slight injuries.

The attack came hours after a pregnant Palestinian woman and her two-year-old daughter were killed in an Israeli air strike on Gaza, after a day of violence that raised fears of a third intifada, or Palestinian uprising.

Al-Manar TV reporter said that the occupation soldiers might assaulted the Palestinian women in order to kill her, and that assuming that she has detonated an explosive device needs to be checked because the car was not greatly damaged.

Zionist police kill Palestinian teen in Jerusalem after alleged stabbing

Meanwhile, a Palestinian teen was shot and killed by Israeli police near the Damascus Gate of occupied East Jerusalem’s Old City on Saturday, marking the tenth Palestinian to be killed in the last 24 hours.

The teen, identified as IshaqBadran, 16, from KafrAqab, was killed after carrying out an alleged stabbing attack in the area.

An Israeli police spokesperson told Ma’an news agency that “a man was stabbed, possibly two,” before Israeli security forces arrived on the scene, shooting and killing the alleged attacker.

Initial Israeli reports say the two Israelis were left with light injuries.

Israeli forces dispersed crowds of Palestinians gathered at the scene with tear gas and sound bombs.

The teen’s martyrdom brings the total number of Palestinians killed since Oct. 1 to 17.

Four Israelis, including two settlers, have been killed in the same time period.
