Israeli settlers storm the archeological area in Sebastaia town in the West Bank city of Nablus

Dozens of Israeli settlers on Wednesday stormed the archeological area in the Palestinian town of Sebastia, to the north of Nablus in the West Bank, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

According to Wafa News Agency, Head of Sebastia Municipality Mohammad Azzam said that tens of extremist Israeli settlers broke into the archeological area while the occupation forces fired toxic gas bombs at the Palestinians to prevent them from entering this area.

The town, especially the archaeological area, has been the target of repeated raids by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers in an attempt to displace the Palestinians from this town and Judaize it.
