Israeli settlers attack Palestinians in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil

A number of extremist Israeli settlers on Saturday stormed into the village of Oum Al-Kheir in Masafer Yatta town, south of the West Bank city of Al-Khalil, and attacked Palestinian shepherds with the aim of forcing them to leave the pasture, but the shepherds confronted them and refused to leave, according to WAFA News Agency.

Another group of Israeli settlers also attacked the Palestinians and their properties in the West Bank city of Salfit.

The settlers stormed into the town of Kafr El-Deek, west of Salfit, attacked the Palestinians’ houses, vandalized two rooms and broke agricultural equipment with the aim of forcing the Palestinians to leave their lands.

On Friday, several Israeli settlers, protected by the Israeli occupation forces, attacked the Palestinians and their properties in the villages of Al-Maghier and Tarmes’aya, east of the West Bank city of Ramallah. The settlers set fire to the agricultural lands in Al-Sahel area and cut off a number of olive trees.

Earlier, the Israeli occupation forces detained three Palestinians in the West Bank.

WAFA reported that the occupation forces this dawn detained a young Palestinian from Gaza strip while he was passing through one of the checkpoints near the village of Za’tara, south of Nablus. The occupation also detained two other Palestinian youths in occupied Al-Quds.

Last night, the occupation forces detained a Palestinian child in the old city of Al-Quds.
