Zionist regime ‘pays money’ to terrorists in Syria

The Zionist regime is paying large sums of money to foreign-backed militants fighting against the Syrian government in exchange for information on fellow al-Qaeda-linked militants.

Abu Dhabi-based newspaper The National reported on Sunday that at least three different militant groups have been in regular contact with Zionist regime’s spy officials.

The daily quoted a source from one of the militant groups in southern Syria as saying that all groups have received more than one tranche of funding worth hundreds of thousands of dollars from Tel Aviv regime.

In late February, an unnamed Zionist commander admitted that the Israeli military is in contact with the foreign-backed militant and terrorist groups inside Syria.
