Israeli occupations has escalated its suppressive acts against Palestinian prisoners, says Palestinian foreign ministry

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, (ST)_The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has reiterated that the Israeli occupation authorities’ escalated suppressive acts against Palestinian prisoners violate international charters and agreements.

It condemned in a statement released on Wednesday the Israeli occupation’s campaigns of suppression and brutal escalation against the Palestinian prisoners.

“The Israeli occupation authorities have  stormed into prisons and attacked  Palestinian prisoners and isolated them after six Palestinian prisoners had managed to break the chain of the Israeli occupation through a tunnel that they had dug with their own hands in Gilboa prison near the city of Bisan in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948,” the statement clarified.

The statement appealed to the Human Rights Council, the International Red Cross (IRC), the United Nations and the International Criminal Court to shoulder their responsibilities related to exerting pressure on the Israeli occupation authorities to stop their crimes against the Palestinians and to hold them accountable.
