The Zionist occupation army said that warplanes had struck five targets in the Gaza Strip in the early hours of Sunday, including four in the northern part of the strip, according to Al-Manar News.
In a statement, it described the raids as a response to three rockets fired from the Palestinian enclave into southern Occupied lands. The rocket attacks had left no casualties or damage.
Media outlets reported that the Zionist aircraft targeted open areas in Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip and farm land in Khan Younis in the south.
Many greenhouses were burnt in the Zionist shelling, according to eyewitnesses.
No causalities have been reported.
In response, Gaza-based resistance groups fired around 90 rockets into the self-proclaimed “Jewish state”, which responded with airstrikes across the Palestinian coastal enclave.
