Israeli occupation opens fire on anti-settlement protesters in Tubas

Dozens of Palestinians were injured and suffered from suffocation on Saturday when the Israeli occupation forces attacked anti-settlement protesters in the east of the West Bank city of Tubas.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces opened fire and toxic gas on a demonstration near Tayaseer village checkpoint, east of Tubas. The demonstrators were protesting against the Israeli annexation schemes and the Israeli settlers’ attacks on the Palestinians. Several protestors were injured and several others suffered from suffocation.

The village of Tayaseer has been the target of repeated attacks by Israeli settlers that aim at seizing the Palestinian lands and establishing new settlement outposts in the area.
