OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, JUN.1, (ST)-A 13-year-old Palestinian child has died due to starvation in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip amidst the closure of the Rafah border crossing.
Medical sources said that the death toll from malnutrition and dehydration had risen to 37 people in the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, the health situation in the Gaza Strip went from bad to worse, with the expansion of military operations in the city of Rafah towards the west, and all its hospitals being out of service.
The occupation continued to close the Rafah crossing for 26 days, amid warnings of a worsening humanitarian situation due to the lack of flow of life-saving supplies to citizens in various parts, especially in the areas of the northern Gaza Strip.
Moreover, it was reported that a number of civilians were injured at dawn on Saturday in an Israeli occupation bombing in the central Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that occupation aircraft targeted two homes in the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip, wounding a number of citizens.
Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 36,284 Palestinians and injuring over 82,057 others.
In Nablus, three Palestinian youths today were injured by live bullets during an the Israeli incursion into Balata refugee camp.
The media spokesman for the Palestinian Red Crescent, Ahmed Jibril, said that three young men were injured by live bullets in the foot and others were hit by shrapnel in the head and chest during the raid.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces demolished part of the al-Arayshi supermarket for the eighth time, amid the outbreak of confrontations, heavy shooting, the flight of drones, and an intense deployment around and inside the camp.
