Zionist occupation Forces Detain Six Palestinians from Northern West Bank

 Israeli occupation forces dawn Monday in Jenin detained six Palestinians from the northern West Bank, said the Palestine Prisoners Society (PPS).

PPS confirmed in a press release that Israeli forces detained two Palestinians from Jenin refugee camp and a former prisoner from Yaabad town, west of Jenin city.

Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles raided Qalqiliya city, where soldiers rounded up two Palestinians.

PPS confirmed that a similar Israeli military raid was carried out in Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem city, resulting in the detention of a Palestinian.

Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

 These raids, which take place also in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Raids besides to other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 51-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians.

Palestinian Political Prisoners in Zionist Jails Call off Hunger Strike after Reaching Agreement

In Ramallah, Several hundred Palestinian political prisoners in Zionist occupation jails called off today their week-long hunger strike after reaching an agreement with the Israel Prison Service (IPS), according to the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission.
