OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, JUN.22, (ST)- Early this morning, Israeli occupation forces raided the Balata and Ein refugee camps as well as several neighborhoods in Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank, severely assaulting a young man in the process.
WAFA correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus and brutally beat a young man during confrontations that erupted following their incursion into the University Street, resulting in the young man sustaining bruises.
Moreover the occupation forces stormed Ein refugee camp in the city amidst heavy gunfire. Simultaneously, another unit raided Balata refugee camp, storming several buildings.
No further casualties or detentions were reported during the raids.
In Jenin city, a young man was shot and injured today by Israeli occupation forces following their raid on the Al-Jabariyat neighborhood in north of the occupied West Bank, during which they surrounded a house.
WAFA correspondent reported that the young man was hit by live ammunition as Israeli occupation forces encircled a residence in the neighborhood, demanding through loudspeakers that the occupants exit the building. Medical teams were prevented from accessing the area.
The raid involved extensive military reinforcements, with Israeli occupation forces conducting a sweeping search operation in the neighborhood and deploying snipers on rooftops.
The incursion began with a covert operation by a special Israeli military unit, who infiltrated the neighborhood amidst heavy gunfire.
