Israeli occupation forces arrest 12 Palestinian policemen

Israeli occupation forces on Saturday arrested 12 Palestinian policemen and confiscated their vehicles while they were on duty in the village of Ni’lin in western Ramallah, according to Ni’lin’s mayor Imad Al Khawaja.

Al Khawaja declared that the policemen were carrying out an operation to arrest suspects who are wanted for criminal charges before they were stopped and arrested by Israeli soldiers at Ni’lin’s military checkpoint.

He added that an Israeli police was in the area of the operation when the Palestinian policemen were going back to Ramallah.
