OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, (ST)- The Israeli occupation forces detained 440 Palestinians including 67 children last month, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Center for Studies.
The center’s spokesman Riad al-Ashqar said in a statement on Monday, that the occupation forces conduct daily arrest campaigns against the Palestinians to tighten the siege imposed on them and to break their will, pointing out that during last month, the Israeli forces detained 440 Palestinians, including 67 children, 11 women and three journalists. Most of the detainees are from the West Bank, the center said.
More than 5000 Palestinian prisoners are still suffering from harsh detention circumstances in Israeli jails. 1800 prisoners are suffering from different illnesses due to the spread of germs and bacteria in the occupation’s prisons. 700 of those ill prisoners need urgent treatment , particularly those with cancer, kidney failure and Paraplegia cases.
