Israeli occupation attacks Palestinians in Hebron city and injures scores

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, May.22, (ST)_ Scores of Palestinians were injured on Sunday when the Israeli occupation forces attacked them in the city of Hebron in the West Bank.

WAFA News Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed into Al-Sahla area in the city amidst shooting, wounding a young man in the eye.

The occupation forces, that are positioned at one of the checkpoints west of the Ibrahimi Mosque, fired poison gas canisters at the Palestinians, causing dozens of suffocation, most of them school students.

Earlier today, the Israeli occupation forces attacked scores of Palestinian workers near a barrier outside the villages of Anin using teargas, causing many cases of suffocation from gas inhalation among the workers.

Last night , the Israeli occupation forces arrested 8 Palestinians during raids in the occupied West Bank provinces of Ramallah, Bethlehem and Nablus, according to local and Palestinian security sources.

Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches. This practice is mostly carried out at nighttime.
