Occupied Al-Quds – (ST): Several “Israeli” newspapers acknowledged that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation launched by the Palestinian resistance in the face of the practices of the Israeli occupation was a shock, intelligence failure, and a nightmare, focusing their attention on analyzing the backgrounds of the surprising operation on the occupying entity.
The newspaper “Haaretz” published an article entitled “October 7, 2023, a date that will remain a shame for Israel,” in which it considered the operation “a horrific Israeli disaster,” and that the occupation, led by the Prime Minister of the Israeli occupation entity, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the Israeli occupation army have failed to provide protection, blaming Netanyahu for this catastrophic failure and said “It is his responsibility and he should be held accountable the day after the war ends.”
It added: “it is not exaggeration to say that the size and strength of the resounding shock waves of the sudden attack on (Israel) was so massive that terrified an entire country, and was humiliating and deadly.”
The newspaper also published an article entitled “The Nightmare Scenario..Victory for Al-Qassam Brigades, and a massive Israeli failure,” in which the writer suggested that “there was no intelligence information about the shocking attack,” adding: “At the end of the war, it will be impossible to avoid the big question.” “What happened to us and how did we fall into such a deadly trap?”
In an article from Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper entitled “A miserable failure for Israel when the militants of the Qassam Brigades infiltrated and took it by surprise,” the writer said: “The assumption of the (Israeli) army in recent years was that the Qassam Brigades had been deterred from carrying out major attacks in “Israel” for fear of the force of the “Israeli” response, and it is very clear that this assumption is baseless.
In another article on the Yedioth Ahronoth website entitled (The Qassam Brigades surprised “Israel”), it was written: “The importance of the matter cannot be underestimated or phrased in less severe terms. The “Israeli” army was shocked by the attack), adding: (The “Qassam Brigades” were victorious.” In a major psychological battle as well, and its memory will remain forever.
In the Jerusalem Post newspaper, in an article entitled (These are the Israeli events of September 11), the writer considered that “Saturday’s events represent Israel’s biggest military and intelligence failure in half a century, if not in 75 years.”
