Zionist entity has razed to the ground the house of Palestinian man Abdel Rahman al-Shaludi in the occupied West Bank over claims that he was involved in recent attacks against Israelis.
The Israeli military issued a statement on Wednesday, saying, “The home… was destroyed in Silwan,” in the neighborhood of East al-Quds (Jerusalem).
Four families were reportedly living in the house and were forced to evacuate the building.
Shaludi reportedly rammed his car into a railway stop in al-Quds, killing two people on October 22. He later died of injuries sustained from Israeli forces’ gunfire.
The Tel Aviv regime claims that the incident was deliberate, but family of the 21-year-old said it was an accident.
According to reports, the Israeli forces also attempted to destroy the houses of other Palestinians in the Jabal al-Mukaber neighborhood of East al-Quds, where Palestinian people in the area blocked their advance.
Latest reports say that the Palestinians have up to now been able to prevent the Israelis from destroying the houses.
Israel decided to demolish the houses after four Israelis were killed in an attack on a synagogue in west al-Quds on Tuesday.
The two Palestinian men, reportedly armed with axes and handguns, entered the synagogue in HarNof, killing the four Israelis, and leaving several others wounded. The two were then fatally shot by Israeli security forces.
Following the incident, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered authorities to destroy the houses of the Palestinian attackers.
Netanyahu warned that Israel would “respond with a heavy hand” to those responsible for organizing the deadly attack.
Tensions have been running high in East al-Quds since Israeli troops shot dead a young Palestinian man in northern occupied territories last week. Israeli forces claim Khair al-Din Hamdan was shot during a raid, but video footage released after the incident shows an Israeli soldier getting out of his car and shooting directly at Hamdan.
Gaza teen dies of wounds inflicted in Zionist war
Meanwhile, a Palestinian teenager has died from wounds he sustained during Zionist war on the Gaza Strip this summer.
Fourteen-year-old Mohammed Siyam was pronounced dead on Tuesday during an operation on his lungs and respiratory tract in a hospital in Turkey.
The Palestinian teenager had lost both his legs in an Israeli airstrike during the latest Israeli military aggression on the impoverished sliver in July. He also lost 12 members of his family during Israel’s war.
Gaza has witnessed three destructive wars since 2008.
During the latest Israeli war on the Gaza Strip this summer, over 2,140 Palestinians, including more than 570 children, were killed and at least 11,000 others injured. Tens of Israelis were also killed in the war.
According to the UN, the Israeli onslaught destroyed thousands of buildings, including the only power plant of the blocked territory, and hit at least 223 schools in Gaza, including the UN-run schools.
Gaza has also been blockaded since 2007, which is a situation that has caused a decline in the standard of living, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and unrelenting poverty.
