Zionist Enemy’s Repeated Missile Attacks against Syria Prove Its Partnership with Terrorist Groups: Ministry

DAMASCUS, (ST)- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has stressed that the Israeli repeated  missile attacks against military sites in Damascus Countryside areas over the past few days were accompanied by mortar and rocket attacks carried out by the terrorist organizations against residential neighborhoods, civilians and infrastructure and this clearly proves partnership and alliance between Israel and the terrorists.

In a letter to the United Nations Chief and the Security Council President dealing with the Israeli enemy’s latest missile attacks on military sites in Damascus Countryside areas of al-Kisweh and Jemraya, the ministry said these acts of aggression are a flagrant violation of the Security Council resolution No. 350 for 1974 concerning the disengagement of forces and they aim at blocking the Syrian army’s progress in the battle to eliminate the terrorist organizations, mainly Daesh and Jabhat al-Nusra.

The ministry added that Israel’s support for the terrorists in their war on Syria is no longer a secret and Israel’s role as an open partner to Daesh, Jabhat al-Nusra and other affiliated terror groups, which receive arms, funding and logistic support from the Zionist entity has been uncovered.

The ministry again warned Israel against pressing ahead with its attacks on the Syrian territories and against its support for the terrorist groups, urging the Security Council to condemn the Israeli flagrant attacks, to take immediate deterrent measures to put an end to such acts of aggression and to hold Israel accountable for the support it has been providing to terrorists as too aggravate the situation in the region and the world.
