Zionist enemy committed 10 bloody massacres in south Lebanon yesterday

BEIRUT, Nov.2, (ST)- At least 59 people were martyred as a result of 10 bloody massacres committed by the Israeli enemy yesterday in the governorates of Baalbek-Hermel and Tyre, eastern and southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported: “the Israeli enemy unleashed its hatred and criminality on the people of the city of Baalbek and the villages of the district on a bloody day par excellence, and committed massacres against safe civilians, taking revenge on women, children and the defenseless, after failing to advance on the southern border.”

It clarified that yesterday the Zionist enemy carried out  more than 25 strikes, killing 60 people and wounding dozens.

“In Baalbek, the Ras al-Ain neighborhood was subjected to brutal bombing by Israeli enemy aircraft, which resulted in the destruction of a building, part of another building, and the largest part of a café and restaurant, and caused severe damage to houses, tourist establishments, and shops in the neighborhood, while the east of the city witnessed the destruction of a building in one of the neighborhoods of the town of Nahla, and to the west, it was targeted. The Zionist enemy also targeted a building, meters away from the thermal power plant and the electricity distribution station, where 2 l9cals and a Syrian citizen were martyred,” the Lebanese agency said.

It added that the Zionist enemy also committed 9 other massacres.

“In the town of Amhaz, 12 people from the Amhaz and Al-Bazzal families were martyred. The toll of the massacre between the towns of Harbta and the Al-Hadath included members of an entire family consisting of a father, mother, and 4 children. Moreover, 8 people  were martyred in the massacre in the town of Yunin, while in the Bednayel massacre, 6 people were martyred besides the martyrdom of 5 people in the Saeeda massacre.” The agency said.

In the southern city of Tyre, two people were martyred and dozens of others were injured, and severe damage was caused to Tibnin Governmental Hospital and the buildings adjacent to the place, as Israeli attacks on the villages of Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts continued throughout the night and until this morning

Yesterday evening, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the total number of martyrs since the start of the Israeli aggression against Lebanon reached 2,897 while 13,150 others were wounded.
