Israeli attack on schools in the Gaza Strip is a war crime

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, (ST)_The Palestinian Ministry of Education has affirmed that the bombardment of Schools and education institutes in the besieged Gaza Strip by the Israeli occupation is a war crime and violates international laws. 
 
The ministry clarified in a statement released on Thursday that more than 46 UN-run schools and 2 education institutes were damaged in the Gaza Strip due to the Israeli continuous attack on the strip. 
 
It pointed out that escalated attacks on education sector coincide with the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. 
 
The ministry called on international organizations to adopt serious steps to stop Israeli attacks on education sector,
