Zeban condemns the American coercive measures imposed on Syria

The Head of the Sarkhat Watan ( Shout of the Homeland ) Movement in Lebanon Jihad Zeban renewed his condemnation and rejection of the unilateral US coercive measures imposed on Syria, especially the so-called Caesar Act.

On June 22, Zeban stated that the aim of the American coercive measures is to tighten the siege on Syria and Lebanon, which constitute an integrated social and economic unit.

Zeban stressed the importance of cooperation between Syria and Lebanon in thwarting hostile plans targeting the two brotherly countries, especially after the failure of the scenario of the terrorist war on Syria.

The National Islamic Conference condemned the so-called “Caesar Act”, stressing that it represented a war crime and a crime against humanity.

The General Coordinator of the National Islamic Conference Khaled Al-Sufyani called for working to pursue and prosecute those who issued this law and whoever works to implement it before international courts and all courts.

He said that the approval of the so-called Caesar Act is a new attempt by Zionist and American terrorism to subjugate Syria and Lebanon.
