Zarif : Iran to remove all excuses for sanctions through negotiations

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Iran is to remove all excuses for sanctions through negotiations, IRNA reported

He made the remarks here Sunday morning in a joint press conference with his visiting Belgian counterpart Didier Reynders who arrived here Saturday evening on a three-day visit.

He described the atmosphere after the preliminary agreements with the 5+1 as appropriate and said Iran is trying to remove all excuses for imposing sanctions to pave the way for foreign investments.

Pointing to the ancient relations between the two countries, he said Iran has opened gates to the world trade.

He said all European countries enjoying friendly approach towards Iran should be aware that there are good and stable conditions in Iran for their investments.

Asked to comment on the Foreign Ministry measures to provide security for the Iranian representative offices in Lebanon, he regretted that extremism and terrorism are the two phenomena challenging governments and nations in the region.

He reiterated that growing cooperation and exchange of views as well as joint action plans are necessary for confronting the evil phenomena.

Nuclear deal to guarantee expansion of ties with Iran – Belgian FM

The Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders said a comprehensive nuclear agreement will lead to expansion of ties with Iranduring thejoint press conference with his counterpartZarif.

He expressed hope that the existing distrust would be removed from the minds of both Iran and 5+1 on nuclear issues, according to IRNA.

He also hoped that the talks concluded by reaching a transparent and inclusive agreement could pave the way for bilateral cooperation in different areas.

The Beligian FM further called for expansion of all-out relations between the two nations based on mutual trust.
